Circle H Growers Ready for Spring Ordering

It's been awhile since I've done any posting. However, as 2009 is darned near in the history books, I was able to finally get down to business and get the website - Circle H Growers - updated with all the new perennial plant offerings for 2010. Several items have been dropped, but at the same time, several new ones have been added. Also, most items will now be in 3.5" pots. Although there are some in 4"x5" pots - some of the newer Echinacea varieties.

Items of note for 2010:
Echinacea Gumdrop
Darkest pink, double, feathery pom-poms decorate the center of each flower, surrounded by a broad brim of candy pink petals. A full-sized plant with strong stems for the middle of the border. Mix with pink coreopsis for a one-two punch! Use with pink Coreopsis and blue ornamental grasses. For more info or to order: Go Here

Echinacea Summer Sun
This brand new tall, golden orange Echinacea hybrid is perfectly sized for the middle to back of the border. It combines superbly with ornamental grasses, Helenium, and Hemerocallis.

The flowers open red-orange and then lighten to golden orange as they expand and age. Be sure to cut a few of the fragrant blooms for your fresh bouquets!

Gaillardia Fancy Wheeler
This compact yet large flowered Gaillardia is produced from tissue culture to ensure crop uniformity and performance. It has a dwarf, very compact habit, forming a rounded mound under one foot tall. From early summer to early fall, rich scarlet flowers rimmed in gold with a red center are produced.

These perennials require little care once established. They are heat tolerant and actually prefer to be grown in poorer soils. They get their name from the manner in which they used to blanket North American prairies with their blooms. They can still be found in fields and along roadsides in the prairie region and into the Rockies. To order or for more info: Go Here

Heuchera Midas Touch
Yummy, seer suckered, ruffled, and fluted foliage of peach and gold, 'Midas Touch' delivers a fashion statement on a heavily veiled, compact vigorous growing plant. Great throughout the year and a special "filler" for autumn-themed baskets.

Heucherella Golden Zebra
Striking bright yellow, feathery leaves are boldly marked with dark-red. Lush foliage and a tight crown make this plant unbeatable for a ground cover or under high branching shrubs. A standout in containers or front of the border.

The above are some of the new offerings for 2010. I'll attempt to post a few every week as I get some time.

In the meantime, I hope to catch you next year. And, should you get the chance, be sure to become a fan of Circle H Growers on Facebook for updates, garden news and garden industry trends and garden info you might find interesting.
